Lore Changelog #009

We've added Connectors to Workbench, and the first integration is Notion. Slack, Linear, and Github are coming soon.

Howdy,

Claude Code feels like a casino. ChatGPT and Claude all feel like they're rolling the dice for you. We want to bring back the feeling of being in control, like a powerful manual car -- for the 1% who want sharp edges and accept risks. We're calling it the Workbench.

We've added Connectors to Workbench, and the first integration is Notion. Slack, Linear, and Github are coming soon.

Workbench now has its own tab in the desktop app. The floating MacOS widget is now shortcut-only (⌥⌘T).

We unified and created a new design system.

We rebuilt parts of Search. If you didn't know, what makes Workbench powerful is every session can search all threads your team has worked in across Claude Code, Cowork, Codex and Amp. When Workbench searches, it now uses every clue in the question, ranks before answering, can pull exact passages from giant threads, and tells you when it can't answer and why.

Plus a lot of boring cleanup under the hood, daily cleanup jobs, legacy code and legacy database columns dropped.
