Lore, on your desktop
The full Lore workspace in a native macOS window. The same app you use in the browser, with proper sign-in and a window that remembers where you left it. Apple silicon, macOS 12+, free.
Everything the browser does, at home on your Mac
- A native window — Lore lives in your Dock. It opens where you left it and remembers its size and position between launches.
- Sign-in that just works — Authentication happens in your real browser, the way Google and other providers require. No cramped embedded login.
- Links open where they should — In-app navigation stays in the window. A GitHub link inside a thread opens in your browser, not over your workspace.
- Always the latest Lore — The app loads the live web app, so you are never stuck on a stale build. Everything you do in the browser works here.
Install: up and running in under a minute
- Download the .dmg — Apple silicon build (M1 and later), macOS 12 or newer.
- Drag Lore to Applications — Open the disk image and drop the Lore app into your Applications folder.
- Open it the first time — The app is not notarized yet, so right-click Lore and choose Open. macOS only asks once.
- Sign in — Lore opens your browser to sign in, then hands you straight back to the app.
